Rubber Duckee Pink and Yellow 1st Birthday Party

I had SO much fun planning and putting together my nieces yellow and pink birthday party! I got inspiration from Kara's Party Ideaswhen she posted a rubber duckee party. It was blue and yellow, so we altered the colors for our theme.  The fabric I purchased from Home Fabrics.  The yellow polka dotted pot was purchased from Home Goods.  The tree displaying her photos was purchased from Bargain Party on their clearance table for $5.00! What a steal!

Cupcake toppers were by Paper&Pigtails Their Estsy shop is filled with adorable party details and they can customize pretty much anything for you! They were great to work with as well.  The cupcakes were homemade by a family member and also from Sam's Club. Love how you can get 30 cupcakes for $12.43! These cute yellow and white liners were found online at another Etsy Shop...OliviasPaperShop

Number one cookies were made by me...I actually got a chance to make some...it seems when I throw a party I never get to that, but I did...and they were gone pretty quick~

Tablecloths were purchased from Valley Novelty in town. I saw these online for a lot more, but lucked out when I found them in town! The rubber duckee centerpieces were floating in colored water.

This was one of my favorite corners...and same went for the kids.  The labels are actually invitations I found on a clearance table at Bargain Party. They were .25 each! What a steal once again! The yellow tissue ball I made following the DIY instructions on Martha Stewart's website.  I flipped it over in a tall galvanized tub and stuck rubber duckees in it. I used skewers and poked their little bottoms!

I used a candle Abra(sp?) to display more cupcakes.  I put small dessert plates where the candles should go and then was able to place more cupcakes all around.

This is my sweet niece's life over the past 12 months.  We had so much fun going down memory lane.  The duckees were borrowed from a friend...she had kept them from a few flower arragements she received in the past. Hope you had fun checking out all the details:)

Red, White, & Blue Grad Candy Bar

We had so much fun putting this all together. I made the tissue balls by following the DIY on MArtha Stewart's site.  All the tags I made. The candy was purchased from local stores as well as a few candy sites online. All the jars I own...crazy I know...the cupcakes were from Sam's Club because you can't beat the price...12.43 for 30...and the sugar cookies I made...hope you enjoy and find some inspiration for the Fourth!

End of the Year Swimming party

So my son wanted to invite everyone over to swim as we get closer to no more school. I only need an excuse to get me to throw a party...so I got inspired by beach ball colors and just did a simple table for all the treats while all the kids had a great time!!! Happy Summer break to all!!!
